Steve Morris Designs

Entirely self-taught, Steve Morris has been a Woodstock, N.Y.-area resident for over 25 years. He owned 3 successful jewelry companies, before deciding to try his hand at larger pieces. Since then, Steve’s clients have ranged from New York City spaces-signs-store and bar owners, to Hudson Valley, NY residents, designers, and architects. He’s done everything from designing and fabricating his signature architectural details in metal, to, in more recent years, designing and drafting plans for homes and additions. His one-time work as a builder, his strong design sensibility, and his intuitive understanding of engineering gives Steve a unique understanding of spatial relationships and functionality – useful to both clients and architects, when discussing their projects and needs.

Steve can work in all variety of metals – steel, stainless steel, bronze, and aluminum. He can achieve any number of finishes, with patinas, patterns, or paint. However, Steve is not limited to metal – he can work with any material to create the designs he produces. Railings, balconies, lighting, furniture, gates, bars & barstools, backlit mirrors – big or small, the sky is truly the limit. Steve’s work ranges in style from whimsical to modern, free-form to minimalist, but he stays constant in his love for curves and clean finishes, and passion for design.

The Steve Morris Designs Studio & Showroom is located in Port Ewen, NY, on Route 9W, overlooking the Hudson River.
