Our Process

Whether the project involves modern stairs, contemporary furniture, interior design or all of the above – our process begins with a consultation… when you share the details of your project with us. We look at your plans or pictures, discuss your taste in décor, furniture and furnishings, look at your color palette and find out what you hope to accomplish in your residence, boutique, or restaurant. After discussing the possibilities, based on site, conditions and budget, we schedule an on-site meeting.

After receiving a deposit, we create an interactive 3D model based on all the information we’ve gathered. After years of experience, and seeing other designer-client relationships, it became clear to us that a vast amount of valuable resources are wasted due to poor communication, and the inability of many people to visualize space and design. As a result, a client’s finished product wasn’t what they had envisioned. At Steve Morris Designs, we’ve adopted a no-surprise approach – the 3D modeling process enables you to see exactly what your exterior, interior, staircase, furniture or lighting will look like – before it’s actually constructed.

Upon design approval, your job will be scheduled for production. We take our deadlines very seriously, and don’t miss our target installation dates.

At Steve Morris Designs, customer satisfaction is a top priority. Satisfied clients are what has kept us flourishing for over 20 years. Once an architect or interior designer has had the pleasure of working with us, we become their go-to contractor for all of their architectural metal work, custom furniture and lighting. Our interior design clients love our extensive insight into architectural styles from Bauhaus to Deco, arts and crafts to the modernist movements of the 50s 60s and 70’s.

Our knowledge of materials and our ability to fabricate what we design make us a rarity in the field of architectural interiors and metal fabrication.
